Sebastian Pintea is a wandering jeweller and designer maker. He is based in the UK and sets up his work bench and computer where ever he ends up staying. His style motto when it comes to jewellery is "simple yet bold". His wanderlust is reflected in his jewellery in the angles and shapes he explores. Whatever the place and time calls for, that is the design he makes.
Specialising in bespoke commissions and using CAD he models his designs on the computer and then makes them in precious metals. Jewellery for him is a way to bridge and anchor the inner world into the physical external world. Personal mythology and alchemy are two key words in what he is trying to achieve and offer through his jewellery. He believes there is much power and strength that can be drawn from body related items such as jewellery and fashion as they are a way to strengthen our self-worth and accountability. The good thing about jewellery is it will last hundreds of years while clothing eventually decays.
